We organise a wide range of adult and junior training courses, Sunday junior sessions and holiday activity weeks. Our Sunday ‘Wing Cadets’ starts again from Sunday 21st June 2026. Wing Cadets will start again with sessions on Sundays 21st and 28th June 2026. (July and September sessions will be announced later). Members can book and pay for sessions using the button above.
Wing Cadets is a Sunday afternoon training session for youth and junior members. We have a great range of boats, to support all abilities, from Oppies, Picos and Toppers through to the more advanced double handed boats, such as Fevas, Lasers and Visions.
Session Times: 14:00 – 17:00. Parents are expected to help children rig and launch the boats and de-rigging afterwards, so that you will be learning together. We ask that you arrive promptly and are ready to go, to enable the best use of time on the water.
Price: £10 per child per session. Training will be carried out by SWSC Training with qualified instructors leading.
To book, please contact Ken, who can provide information and a reservation. Numbers are limited to 18 children, aged 8-18yrs, and they must be members of Silver Wing Sailing Club.
