Silver Wing Sailing Club Governance

Silver Wing Sailing Club (SWSC) is part of Silver Wing Lake Limited (SWLL), the company, limited by guarantee (number 11501456) which has been assigned the lease to the site. The Club Members of SWLL, together with certain classes of Associate Membership,  form the sailing club. Other users of the site (principally Hurricanes Dragon Boat Club and British Airways Clubs Angling Society) form further classes of Associate Membership of SWLL. The Company’s founding articles are here. All members (including Dragon Boat and Angling associate members) are bound by the SWLL Byelaws (updated November 2024). The Club Members at any time (as defined in the Byelaws) guarantee the company’s liabilities to the amount of £1 per Club Member.
